Award recipients will receive full sponsorships to summer camps with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities. Sponsorship awards are focused on girls in the fourth (4th) through eighth (8th) grades of African-American ancestry and who are historically underrepresented in the aforementioned STEM areas.

High potential students who are economically disadvantaged or those who have experienced family hardships are especially encouraged to apply. Past program locations have included Stanford University, San Jose State University at Lake Sierra, Santa Cruz, South Lake Tahoe and others.
