GOD’S VISION DAY CARE AND SCHOOL, MOMBASA, KENYA

Our five weeks 2019 Mission supported our core organizational goals for 125 enrolled students aged 5-16 years. We PROVIDED: 1. Four health clinics/food for school feeding program 2. Pillow Case Dress Project-new dresses - San Jose Chapter of the Links, Inc. 3. School Shoes ,third year grant- 100 Black Women of Silicon Valley 4. Mosquito nets- Lewis Memorial CME Church, Otis Edmondson 5. Educational supplies/backpacks/sports equipment/school fee support/in-service training-Johanna Ellison, Hellen Sims, Gloria Murry; Larry and Pamela Lowe, Ora Battle and other donors 6. “A Book for Every Child” Project-San Jose Chapter of the links, Inc., AKA-Ivy Rose Foundation, Robert and Amilene Townes, Mary Noel; Ora Battle; and other donors 7. New mandated standard textbooks for entire school- Judy Billingsley 8. Construction of a stone classroom, 13x30 feet 9. Tree planting-Kombo Van Service, Mohammed Tour Service, Victor Kogo 10. Transportation of supplies- Johanna Ellison, San Jose chapter of the Links, Inc. Mission volunteers: Hellen Sims, Pamela Lowe, Johanna Ellison, Gloria Murry, and Marjorie Craig, coordinator The Board of Directors appreciates very much the contributions of all the compassionate volunteers, individuals, families and organizations that made it possible for us to serve the children.
